    The annual Mid-Winter Antique Show is taking place on January 24 & 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the WheatonArts Event Center. The show features approximately 40 quality dealers offering a wide selection of antique furniture, books, ceramics, glass, jewelry, linens, memorabilia, toys, pottery, vintage accessories, and more. Admission is $8.00 per person at a special discounted rate. WheatonArts Members are invited to enjoy early access to the show beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. During the Antique Show weekend, the Museum of American Glass, Artist Studios, and Museum Stores will also be open to visitors. With the exception of the Mid-Winter Antique Show, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center will be closed to the public during January, February, and March. The campus will fully reopen on Thursday, April 2, 2026, when WheatonArts resumes its seasonal operating schedule, open from April through December. During this time, the Museum of American Glass, Folklife Center, and Artist Studios will undergo exhibition changes, inventory updates, and facility maintenance in preparation for the spring reopening. While the grounds and buildings are closed, visitors can continue to shop year-round at the Museum Stores online at shop.wheatonarts.org or schedule an in-person shopping appointment. Admission to the sale is free, open ten full days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sunday, December 7. This highly anticipated sale features discounts of 30% to 70% off original prices on a wide selection of handcrafted ceramic and glass items. Featuring three sections of unique pottery and glass pieces, the sale includes Senior Resident Potter Terry Plasket, Resident Potter Phyllis Seidner, and the WheatonArts’ Associate Potters, Samantha Bartlett, Tessa Carlton, Mary-Kate Fogel, Clint Hunter, and Amy Reilly.     Celebrating 26 years of artistic excellence, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center hosts the anticipated annual Festival of Fine Craft on October 4 and 5, rain or shine! This crowd-favorite event features the work of over 150 juried contemporary and traditional artists, unique artist demonstrations, a Beer & Wine Garden, family art activities, WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser, live musical entertainment, and more! Throughout the WheatonArts campus, visitors can engage with a diverse community of artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art. From inspired paintings, decorative ceramics, and novel jewelry to innovative wood sculptures and vibrant wearables, the Festival offers interesting one-of-a-kind treasures for everyone!   • Fire Muster

    The 44th annual Fire Muster & Fire Fighter’s Family Day, presented by the Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade, will take place at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore over 80 antique fire trucks from the Mid-Atlantic States on display through the WheatonArts campus. This year, the fire truck used during the episode Peyton’s Places: The Santa Game will be out for presentation! The truck featured in the segment is a very rare 1961 Ward LaFrance Firebrand model. The FireBrand was introduced in 1960 and manufactured for just under 3 years by Ward LaFrance, located in Elmira Heights, New York. With only 109 Firebrands manufactured, few are known to remain in running condition. This truck and its sister truck are part of Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade member John Burzichellis' Ward LaFrance collection. Visitors will be able to take pictures as they climb aboard the fire truck and stand in the same spot as Peyton Manning did during the episode. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, this indoor/outdoor event features a standout collection of Antique Dealers from the Mid-Atlantic area showcasing a wide selection of books, ceramics, furniture, glass, jewelry, memorabilia, toys, vintage accessories, and more. Enjoy a variety of local artists and craftspeople representing a mixture of mediums, along with food vendors and farm market proprietors on the grounds. Visitors can also explore the Museum of American Glass, the Down Jersey Folklife Center, Artist Studios (Hot Glass, Pottery, and Flameworking), Museum Stores, and the Nature Trail during the event!
