Summer Meet the Artists Sip and Shop

The Museum Stores and the Museum of American Glass are staying open late for a free Summer Sip and Shop event. Join us for a relaxing summer evening at WheatonArts to meet the resident artists and shop their latest work. Enjoy light refreshments while you browse unique pieces of glass and pottery, listen to live music, and view this season’s new contemporary glass exhibits. During the Summer Sip and Shop, only the Museum Stores and the Museum of American Glass will be open. The rest of the campus will be closing at 4 p.m. Door Prizes throughout the evening.

Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center proudly declares that Fantasy Faire returns on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day! In partnership with Mystic Realms, Ltd®, this annual event features talented performers as they bring to life the "Kingdom of Wheaton" by enacting a series of interconnected shows. Visitors of all ages can interact with strolling costumed characters portraying historical and mythical figures throughout WheatonArts' campus. Everyone is invited to come dressed in their favorite fantasy garbs to enjoy a variety of live performances and sword demonstrations, engage in free family art activities, play pirate games, shop the merchants' alley, and so much more! Fantasy Faire is included with general admission to WheatonArts. Fantasy Faire is included in the price of admission to WheatonArts. Admission is $12.00 for Adults, $11.00 for Senior Adults, and $7.00 for Students. Children five and under are free. Tickets are available at the front gate and online. On Saturday, June 28th, Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum invites you to join us for one of our favorite annual events—Wings & Things: An Arts and Craft Festival that Celebrates Creativity, Community, and Cars! Wings & Things transforms our historic WWII-era hangar into a vibrant hub of local talent and family-friendly fun. Guests can browse handmade goods from a variety of craft vendors, offering everything from artisan creations to homemade treats. It’s the perfect way to support local artists while enjoying a day surrounded by history and heritage. For our younger guests, face painting and a hands-on kids’ craft station will spark imagination and creativity. Children can make kites, craft friendship bracelets to take home, and color drawings for soldiers.
