Wilbur Whitman 25 piece patriotic Band will play from 7:30 to Dark Overlooking Scenic Silverton Bay First Drone show in Ocean County Parks & Recreation History July Second is the actual day that the Continental Congress voted to sever ties with England and the date that the First New Jersey State Constitution was adopted granting many rights including the right to vote for any person (gender, religion, race or national origin) that could meet the minimum property ownership.

The day begins at 1:00 PM with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by Bells Across America at 2:00 PM, featuring participating bell choirs ringing together in unity.
