The MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL Downtown Jamboree will transform the vibrant, arts-rich, New York City urban suburb of Montclair, NJ into a musical mecca. The 16th Annual, this is the third year that the festival takes to the streets of downtown Montclair to support the vibrant main business district. Get ready for 2 stages and 150 food and artisan vendors on a ½ miles stretch of Bloomfield Avenue and expanded VERIZON Family Jazz Discovery Zone!
JOIN US FOR THE 2024 GRAND FINALE! Saturday, September 13th 12 – 8pm: 8 hours of live music, curated selection of food and merchandise, fun for the whole family. The festival will take to the streets of downtown Montclair to support the vibrant main business district. Bloomfield Avenue will be closed to traffic at Grove St. to Midland Ave.
The free eight-hour Downtown Jamboree Grand Finale will take place along nearly half a mile of downtown Montclair’s Bloomfield Avenue commercial corridor, closed to vehicular traffic
Attendees will have access to Montclair’s hundreds of retailers and restaurant storefronts
More than 175 vendors will be stationed throughout the closed-off festival areas.
High-anticipated, family-friendly event will feature live performances by internationally acclaimed musicians; JAZZ HOUSE teaching artists, all of whom are professional musicians; and JAZZ HOUSE alumni, many of whom are rising stars on the jazz scene
Back by popular demand, renowned comedian Alonzo Bodden returns to host the Downtown stage; SiriusXM Jazz personality and vocalist Andromeda Turre returns to host the downtown stage
The Verizon Jazz Discovery Zone will offer artmaking and movement activities for the whole family
