 The New Jersey Tourism Industry Association (NJTIA) Swears in New Slate of Officers at the Annual New Jersey Conference on Tourism

New Jersey Tourism Industry Association Names Ben Rose as New President 

Atlantic City, NJ – December 15, 2024 – The New Jersey Tourism Association (NJTIA) elected Ben Rose, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority, as its new president at the New Jersey Conference on Tourism held on December 11 & 12 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. A swearing in ceremony was part of the NJTIA Awards Luncheon held in the Grand Ballroom at the resort. A complete slate of officers was also sworn in for a three-year term to lead the organization, 

The executive appointments assuming their new positions were outgoing president Lori Pepenella, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, as Chairman, Jennifer Costa of the Elizabeth Destination Marketing Organization, 1st Vice President, Heather Colache of Visit Atlantic City, 2nd Vice President, Michael Snyder of Visit South Jersey, as 3rd Vice President, Joann DelVescio of The New Jersey Campground and Outdoor Accommodations Association, as Treasurer, Samantha Rutlidge of the Morris County Tourism Bureau, as Secretary, and Judy Ross of the Meadowlands CVB, as DMO Representative.

With over 35 years of experience in marketing, Ben Rose brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role as NJTIA President. Having served the organization as Secretary and Vice President for the past nine years, Rose has been a driving force in advancing NJTIA’s mission. He also serves as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority in Wildwood, NJ, where his innovative campaigns have significantly boosted regional tourism. As President, Rose will focus on increasing NJTIA memberships, enhancing the annual Tourism Conference, and ensuring greater value for NJTIA stakeholders. Rose’s leadership promises to elevate NJTIA’s advocacy and influence across the tourism industry.
