New Jersey Destination Marketing Organizations (NJDMO): Driving Tourism and Economic Growth
As an integral part of the New Jersey Tourism Industry Association (NJTIA), the New Jersey Destination Marketing Organizations (NJDMO) play a critical role in promoting the state as a premier travel destination. New Jersey is home to 22 designated Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), each committed to showcasing the unique attractions, experiences, and culture of their respective regions.
The mission of these DMOs is to drive visitation to local communities, fostering economic activity and creating jobs by attracting travelers and encouraging visitor spending. By highlighting the distinctive tourism assets in their areas, DMOs serve as vital engines of local and state-wide economic growth.
At the local level, DMOs provide valuable services to the traveling public by producing marketing materials, developing promotional campaigns, and supporting tourism-related businesses. Whether it’s promoting vibrant downtowns, scenic landscapes, historical landmarks, or cultural festivals, New Jersey’s DMOs work tirelessly to enhance the state’s appeal to visitors from near and far.
As a part of NJTIA, NJDMO collaborates with industry partners and stakeholders to advocate for tourism funding, drive innovation, and ensure that New Jersey remains competitive in the global travel market. Together, we are committed to elevating the tourism sector and its significant contributions to the state’s economy and communities.
